Holy Communion - It's importance, guidelines and importance.

1 Corinthians 10:16-17
Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of one loaf.

What is the Holy Communion
The Holy Communion is an act of worship and thanksgiving that should be participated in and done by churches, gatherings and families in accordance to Christ's word (Luke 22:19) "To do this (the Holy Communion) in remembrance of Him" in order to thank God for sending His Son, thank Jesus for giving His life and t sow our unity (oneness) with God and the body of believers, all over the world.

So, why the Holy Communion
1. We participate in the Holy Communion (often done in today's church as eating a piece of bread to signify Christ's body and a small cup of red juice signifying His blood) to be one with God.
2. To remember the and worship God and thank God for the amazing gift of Salvation that He gave to us (which is still available).
3. TO show our oneness as one body in Christ... that is to show that all of us believers in the world are each one with Christ and one with one another, a family with God as the head.

NOTE (1 Corinthians 11:27-30)
Do not ever partake in the Holy Communion if you are not saved or aren't 100% sure of your salvation. It is not right to do so in God's eyes.
Get Christ to join this beautiful act and art of worship.
